General Information
Q1: Will I still be able to bank at the branch offices?
Yes. Please refer to the Branch information located on our website.
Q2: Will the name of Greenwoods State Bank change after the acquisition?
Yes. The new name of the bank will be Bank CMG effective October 1st, 2025.
Q3: Will I still be banking with the same people?
Yes. You will continue to be served by many of the same bankers and team members as you have in the past.
Q4: Will my account number remain the same?
Yes. Your Checking, Savings, Certificate of Deposit and Loan account numbers will remain the same as they are today.
Q5: Will I be able to use my existing Greenwoods State Bank checks after the acquisition?
Yes. You will continue to use your existing checks until the next time you place an order for new checks. If you order after October 1st, the name on the checks will be Bank CMG. For any orders prior to October 1, the checks will be Greenwoods State Bank and will still work.
Q6: What are the hours of operation?
The hours of operation will not change. Please refer to the Branch information located on our website.
Q7: Will my deposits be insured by the FDIC?
Yes. All deposit accounts will continue to be insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), up to applicable FDIC limits, please visit: www.fdic.gov/resources/deposit-insurance/brochures/insured-deposits for additional information.
Account Transaction Information
Q8: When will I receive my monthly statement?
There will be no changes to the method you currently receive your statements today, whether you receive electronic statements or paper statements. Further, the time of month when you receive your statements will not change. For electronic statements, the email will come from Bank CMG.
Q9: I have a direct deposit into my account. Will this service continue?
Yes. Your direct deposit will continue with no impact, as there is no change to the existing routing number.
Q10: I have an automatic payment coming from my account. Will this service continue?
Yes. Your payment will continue with no action required on your part.
Q11: I have money transferred between my Greenwoods accounts each month. Will this continue?
Yes. Your transfer will continue with no action required on your part so long as both accounts are currently with Greenwoods State Bank
Q12: Will my CD and IRA accounts remain in their current term with the same rate?
Yes. Current CD and IRA accounts will remain in their current term with the same rate until maturity. Prior to maturity, a 30-day notice of renewal will be sent notifying you of any possible change with updated terms of conditions on the renewing CD or IRA.
Debit Cards
Q13: May I continue to use my existing debit card after the acquisition?
Yes. You can continue to use your existing debit card. We will be reissuing new debit cards in October of this year. The reason for the reissue is to provide customers with an updated logoed card and allow for upgraded capabilities to include tap to pay and/or contactless cards.
Q14: Will my PIN number change with my current debit card?
No. Your current PIN number will remain the same as today.
Q15: Will the daily limits on my debit card be the same with Bank CMG?
There will be no changes to the limits on your card as issued today.
Q16: Is there a telephone number I can call to report a lost or stolen card?
To notify us of lost or stolen cards, or of unauthorized transactions, you may contact your local banker at Bank CMG at 1-800-224-2324, or contact debit card services directly at
1-800-472-3272.
Telephone Banking
Q17: Will Bank CMG have a Telephone Banking System?
You will have access to Telephone Banking 24 hours a day, 7 days a week toll-free at (877) 648-2324, where you can check your balances, or transfer funds from your phone.
Q18: What will my PIN number be?
The first time you utilize Telephone Banking the PIN number will be the last four digits of your social security number. You will be prompted to change the PIN.
Internet Banking & Mobile Banking
Q19: I currently use Internet Banking to access my personal Greenwoods State Bank accounts. Will I have to re-register with Bank CMG?
No. You will not need to reregister your online banking with Bank CMG. The same user ID and password you are using today will continue to be used. While the website will change to BankCMG.com around October of this year, we will redirect our current website to this new location. Further, we are excited to announce that in February 2026, we will be releasing an innovative and advanced online banking platform. More information will be forthcoming on this front as we get closer to that date.
Q20: I currently use the Bill Pay option for Greenwoods State Bank internet banking service. How will Bank CMG service be different?
The Bill Pay service will continue the same as you have today with no impact. As mentioned above, as we move closer to our updated online banking platform, we will provide any additional information if necessary.
Q21: Will I have to re-enter my payee information once I become a Bank CMG customer?
No. You will not need to add your active payees and recurring payments again.
Q22: Will I be able to continue using Greenwood’s State Bank Mobile App?
Your current Mobile App including Mobile Deposit, will continue to be available with your same user id and password. With the upcoming release of our updated online banking platform in February of 2026, we will provide additional information, if necessary, closer to the release date.
Q23: Will Zelle be available?
Yes. We are excited to announce Zelle capabilities will become available in August 2025. This is a new service and we look forward to providing additional details via marketing and our website.
General Loan Information
Q24: Will my loan account number change?
Your loan numbers will remain the same.
Q25: How can I make my loan payment?
Payments for your loans can continue to be made in the same manner in which you make them today.
Other General Disclosures
Q26: What is Bank CMG’s cut-off time for funds availability?
The Funds Availability policies at Greenwoods State Bank are the same as Bank CMG.
Q27: I rent a Safe Deposit Box from Greenwoods State Bank. Will I still have access to it?
Yes. You will be able to access your Safe Deposit Box the same way as you do currently.
